    •  We have been doing research on low reynolds number aerodynamics of micro air vehicles for years. During the process, we designed many aircrafts at low reynolds number and found its flight control solutions, realization technologies and manufacturing methods. In 2011, we developed and built several of commercial electric fix-wing micro air vehicles (NCA-MAVs), which combined many advanced technologies such as modular design, bionic wings with low aspect ratio and high lift-to-drag ratio, reliable integrated control & mission system, efficient and safe electric propulsion system, fast fold body, etc.

       Compared with electric micro helicopter and multi-rotors aircraft, the fixed-wing NCA-MAVs are more advantaged, they have higher flight efficiency and bigger load. Under the same conditions of cells and missions, the NCA-MAVs exhibit higher endurance and wider cruising range characteristics. The average weight for each of them, including the cells and mission equipments that carry out the task of photography, image-transmitting and so on, is between 38 and 46 grams, the endurance is between 55 and 65 minutes in normal weather. NCA-MAVs have the capacity for performing multiple tasks and will be applied in many industries.
